An Observation About Curriculum & School Violence

Take small children
Group according to age 
Restrict bodily movement 
Control thought 
Measure participation
Technicize activities with data
Interface with computer
Outlaw free communication
Deny freedom of expression
Penalize daydreamers
Restrict movement 
Ignore child's interests 
Restrict play
Punishment enforces tasks
behavior modification
Shame coerce child into participation of standardized activities

Fragment learning outside child's interests

The State & Federal legislatures are in denial about harming children with mandated accountability/assessment practices that cause toxic stress and anxiety.  Governmental bureaucracies are either ignoring the fact that standardized tests and test-prep knowingly exacerbates stupefication and disengagement or are playing dumb to it's affects. Perhaps that was the plan all along.
